2017 Capitol Federal Concert Series Lineup Now Totals 11 Shows
Three new concerts in the 2017 Capitol Federal Concert Series at Starlight Theatre go on sale to the public today and tomorrow, while another is set for next Friday, Feb. 17. These announcements bring to 11 the total number of concerts confirmed for spring and summer 2017.
The newest additions to the Starlight concert lineup, which will continue to grow in coming weeks, are:
MUSE with Thirty Seconds to Mars – On sale today, Feb. 10
Monday, June 12
Grammy Award-winning English rock band MUSE will tour 15 cities in North America this summer, joined by the multi-platinum selling Thirty Seconds to Mars. MUSE released their newest album, Drones, in June 2015, debuting at No. 1 in 21 countries, including the United States. The album’s No. 1 hit single, “Dead Inside” earned MUSE their second Best Rock Album Grammy last February.
John Legend with Gallant – On sale today, Feb. 10

Acclaimed singer-songwriter John Legend, with special guest Gallant, takes his Darkness and Light Tour to 27 North American cities this spring. The concert follows the Dec. 2 release of Legend’s fifth studio album, Darkness and Light. Since his debut in 2004, Legend has won 10 Grammy Awards, an Academy Award, a Golden Globe, the BET Award for Best New Artist and the Special Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame.
Steve Miller Band with special guest Peter Frampton – On sale Friday, Feb. 17

Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller and his band will delve into their deep catalog of hits from the 1960s, ‘70s and ‘80s for audiences in 32 U.S. cities and Toronto this summer. Miller’s seemingly endless flow of music, including hits like “The Joker,” “Abracadabra” and “Fly Like An Eagle,” continues to get strong radio play. The Steve Miller Band has played to more than 15 million people in the past 20 years.
Nickelback with Daughtry and Shaman’s Harvest – On sale Saturday, Feb. 11

Multi-platinum Canadian rock band Nickelback hits the road this summer to play 44 cities in support of their ninth studio album, Feed the Machine, which will be released June 9. Since forming in 1996, Nickelback has sold 50 million albums worldwide, earned nine Grammy nominations, three American Music Awards and numerous other honors. Their 2001 hit single “How You Remind Me” was named Billboard’s Top Rock Song of the Decade.
