HEIDI WEBSTER
(Sandy) is thrilled to be making her debut at Starlight Theatre. She most recently starred in Steve Wynn’s Showstoppers in Las Vegas where she resides. Heidi has a Master’s degree in Music from Arizona State University and has been working as a music therapist in hospice. She started her career singing with Holland America Cruise Lines and Tokyo Disneyland. Big thanks to Phil McKinley!

 

 
DON DENTON
(Kenickie) makes his Starlight debut with this production. He spent his high school years not far from here in Topeka, Kan., often performing at Helen Hocker Theater. Regional credits include Jean Valjean in Les Misérables, Harold Hill in The Music Man, Sky Masterson in Guys & Dolls, Hank Williams in Hank Williams: Lost Highway, Jerry Lukowski in The Full Monty, Bernard in Boeing Boeing, Ben Hecht in Moonlight and Magnolias, and Jonny in Zombie Prom. LINDSEY OLSON
(Rizzo) is delighted to be making her professional debut with Starlight. Lindsey recently graduated from Northwestern University where she studied classical voice, musical theatre and theatre. Favorite credits include Wild Party (Madeline True), A Funny Thing… Forum (Hysterium) The Tempest (Stephano) and Into The Woods (Jack’s Mother). Special thanks to her sister Katie for laughs and inspiration and to her parents for undying support and love!

 

 
CATHY BARNETT
(Miss Lynch) is delighted to return to Starlight where she has performed in productions of The Producers and The Sound of Music. She appeared in The Dixie Swim Club at The New Theatre, How to Steal a Picasso at the Unicorn Theatre, and Musical Theater Heritage’s concert production of Sweeney Todd. Cathy has toured nationally and internationally in productions of both Forbidden Broadway and Forbidden Hollywood. She also portrays the Hallmark greeting card character “Maxine.”

 

 
QUENTIN AVERY BROWN
(Teen Angel) is thrilled to be making his Starlight Theatre debut in Grease. He is the founder/executive director of Independent Artists’ Playhouse, a new theatre company in Atlanta. He has performed for various theme parks and cruise ships, including Walt Disney World and Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. STEVEN EUBANK
(Eugene) is a proud KCMO native and is delighted to work with Phil McKinley once again at Starlight Theatre since his theatre debut was as the Young Fool in Big River in 1993. He has enjoyed performing recently at Coterie Theatre as Garfield and as Charlie Brown. Other local appearances have included Spinning Tree Theatre (Assassins, Hello Again), Musical Theater Heritage (Oliver, Hello Dolly), Theatre for Young America (Junie B. Jones, Velveteen Rabbit) and Worlds of Fun.

 

 
BETHANY FAY
(Patty) is a Kansas City native and is ecstatic to make her Starlight debut. Her first memories of theatre are from Starlight! LANDREE FLEMING
(Frenchy) is thrilled to make her Kansas City Starlight debut. She was most recently seen as Annette in Saturday Night Fever (Drury Lane Theatre). Additionally, she has worked with Paramount Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Marriott Theatre, Griffin Theatre, Theatre at the Center, Circle Theatre and Adventure Stage Chicago. ERIC GEIL
(Roger), a Kansas City native, is thrilled to return to Starlight after making his Starlight debut in The Sound of Music. Currently he is touring with The Book of Mormon. He has a B.F.A in Musical Theatre from Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music where he appeared in roles such as Marius in Les Miserables, Tommy in Carrie: The Musical and Frankie/Young Soldier in Parade. Other roles and productions include Enjolras at Cardinal Stage Company, Bobby Strong at Theatre in the Park KC, and Gypsy at Musical Theater Heritage. He would like to thank God, his family, CYT, Cathy Hardy, Kimberly De Acha, Kent Andel and Kansas City Starlight.

 

 
ANTHONY NORMAN

ELIZA PALASZ

SARA REINECKE
(Jan) is tickled pink to be a part of this production. She graduated from Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University with a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre. Since then, she has bopped around the Midwest working with BoHo Theatre (Urinetown), Metropolis PAC (Hair), Paramount Theatre (Mamma Mia!), Tantrum Theatre (Little Shop of Horrors), and Little Theatre on the Square (Hairspray, The Addams Family, Pinkalicious). Lots of love to her real Pink Ladies.

JOEL CHAMBERS
(Ensemble) is thrilled to return home to Kansas City to perform in Grease. After earning his degree in Musical Theatre from Point Park University’s Conservatory of Performing Arts, Joel moved to New York City where he is now based. MEGHAN FADDIS
(Ensemble) is excited to make her Kansas City Starlight debut. Originally hailing from St. Louis, she has appeared at various regional theatres including The Muny, Sacramento Music Circus and Indiana Festival Theater. Meghan graduated with a B.F.A. in Musical Theater from Indiana University – Go Hoosiers! Much love to Mom, Dad and Nick for their undying encouragement and support!

 

 
GABBIE FRIED
(Ensemble) is ecstatic to return to KC in her first Starlight show; she is an alum of the Starlight Stars program (2010). Regional: Footloose (Cortland Rep), Spring Awakening (Hangar Theatre), Les Miserablés and Disney’s The Little Mermaid (TriArts Sharon Playhouse), Chicago (Music Theatre Kansas City), Uncommon Women and Others (Atlantic Acting School). MICHAEL GEORGE
(Ensemble) is from Los Angeles and recently graduated with a B.A. in Acting from Columbia College of Chicago. Her recent productions include Mamma Mia! at The Muny and Saturday Night Fever and Chicago at Drury Lane. Michael is extremely grateful to be here and excited to have this opportunity. She looks forward to performing for the first time at Starlight Theatre.

 

 
COURTNEY GERMANY
(Ensemble) studied at the University of Kansas in the Department of Dance and also performed as a Rock Chalk Dancer. Courtney trained at Broadway Dance Center’s Summer Professional Semester where she worked with many well-known choreographers, including Hollywood, Tucker Barkley, Kristin Sudeikis, Lane Napper, Jim Cooney, Phil Orsano and Miles Keeney. Courtney has worked behind the scenes at Starlight Theatre for many years as part of the Education camp staff, and is one of Starlight’s very first Vincent Legacy Scholars. Now, she is excited to perform on stage in Grease.

 

 
LILY KLOPCIC
(Ensemble) is excited to make her Starlight debut. A former Disney and Tampa Bay Storm dancer, she currently performs in ongoing revues at Sax DC. She enjoys working in film/television with credits including Romance Complicated and “House of Cards.”

PJ PALMER
(Ensemble) is pumped to be back at Starlight after appearing in 2015’s Mary Poppins. He was recently seen on Broadway hailing a taxi, but more legitimate credits include the national tour of Elf: The Musical, as well as Goodspeed, Paper Mill, MUNY, North Shore, Maine State Music Theatre, Casa Manana, Fulton Theatre and Stages St. Louis. OLIVIA RENTERIA
(Ensemble) is very excited to be working at Kansas City’s Starlight Theatre for the first time. Her most recent shows include Saturday Night Fever at Drury Lane Theatre in Chicago, where she also played Teen Bertie in the new musical Beaches. Previous credits include The Bardy Bunch at The Mercury Theatre, Brigadoon at The Goodman Theatre, Cats and The Who’s Tommy at The Paramount Theatre. Olivia studied at The Chicago Academy for the Arts as a Musical Theatre major (best high school in the world), Ruth Page Center for the Arts and Point Park University. She would like to give thanks to her four sisters who inspire her with their enthusiastic hearts and to her grandparents who own Maywood Fine Arts, a nonprofit organization where it all began for Olivia! ERIK SOBBE
(Ensemble) is a native of Kansas City, Mo., and began his training at the age of 20. He attended The Conservatory of Music and Dance at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and received his B.F.A. Regional credits: Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor DreamcoatHairspray and Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story (New Theatre Restaurant), Aladdin ( Starlight), Zombie Prom (Egads Theater), Unchained MelodiesYou’ve Got a Fried (Quality Hill Playhouse). Erik has also been seen dancing with WHCDC and the Kansas City Ballet.

The Blue Star Teen Ensemble in Grease is made up of 15 talented high school performers whose schools participate in Starlight’s Blue Star Awards program. The ensemble members and their high schools are: Margaret Ahearn (Saint Thomas Aquinas), Danielle Blankenship (Oak Park), Jordan DeLeon (Olathe South), Amanda Dulny (Shawnee Mission Northwest), Jessica Haney (Lee’s Summit West), Katie Hulla (Saint Thomas Aquinas), Holly Jackson (Shawnee Mission West), Alexa Morgan (St. James Academy), J.P. O’Donnell (Blue Valley, now at UMKC), Megan Secrest (Olathe South), Fisher Stewart (formerly Shawnee Mission Northwest, now at Olathe West), Devyn Trondson (Shawnee Mission Northwest), Megan Walstrom (Shawnee Mission East), Garrett Williams (Liberty North) and Tori Wyatt (Truman).
