Show Policies:

Each guest is always allowed to bring 1 sealed bottle of water into the venue - you may be asked to remove the cap based on tour security restrictions. Starlight has 11 chilled water fountains, 4 water bottle fillers and complimentary small cups of ice available upon request at the permanent concessions stands. Lids may be required to be removed and discarded upon entry. Bottles may not be frozen solid at the time of admission.

Photographic cameras must be able to fit in your front pocket (cell phone and small point-and-shoot styles only; no detachable lens cameras, no GoPros, no selfie sticks, no tablets larger than 7").

Smoking is not allowed within the audience area. Two clearly marked smoking areas are located east of the Encore Deck and overlooking the north lawn.

The following items will not be allowed into the theatre for this concert: backpacks, lawn chairs, weapons (knives, chains, firearms), umbrellas, containers, coolers and laser pointers.

If you have any needs once you’re on site at Starlight, please see any member of our GuestASSIST team (in red polos), our usher team (purple polos), our volunteer Ambassadors (white polos) or stop by one of our three Guest Information kiosks. Or, TEXT us at 816-799-7827 (this text line is monitored only during performances), and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Security:

New Magnetic Wanding Entry Procedures. A magnetometer wand is a noninvasive device that scans the body for prohibited metallic items. There will be occasions when a physical pat-down is still necessary, for example when a guest declines screening for medical reasons, in case of an implant or medical device, or when the alert of a metal detector cannot be resolved through inquiry or physical inspection.

Weather Policy:

All shows at Starlight Theatre are rain or shine. In the event that a dangerous weather situation develops, the performance may be delayed or interrupted to allow the weather to pass. Should this happen, updates will be announced in the venue and posted on Starlight’s Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Our themed food and beverage stands offer everything from Italian delicacies and fine wine to sweet treats, barbecue and other Kansas City favorites!
