Rules and Regulations

1. INTRODUCTION
The “Chicago Trip For Two” promotion (the Promotion) is sponsored by Starlight Theatre Association of Kansas City, Inc. (the Company) located at 4600 Starlight Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64132.

2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The Promotion is open to all Starlight Theatre 2012 season ticket holders OR residents of the Kansas City Metro. You must be 18 years of age or older to participate. Employees, officers and directors of The Company, its respective related companies, as well as the immediate family (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, and grandparents) and household members of each such employee, officer, and director are not eligible to participate. By participating in The Promotion, each participant agrees to abide by these Official Rules & Regulations and the decisions of The Company, which are final and binding in all respects. No purchase is necessary (see How to Participate for details).

3. PROMOTIONAL PERIOD/TERMINATION
The Promotion begins on October 27, 2011 at 12:01:00 a.m. U.S. Central Daylight Time ("CT") and ends on December 9, 2011 at 11:59:00 p.m. The Company reserves the right to end or stop The Promotion at any time for any reason.

4. HOW TO PARTICIPATE
  • Anyone who goes to www.kcstarlight.com (see eligibility requirements), renews their season tickets online, and pays in full by December 9, 2011 is automatically entered in the Prize Package drawing.
  • You may also enter to win by mailing a 3x5 index card with your name, mailing address, phone number and email address to: Starlight Theatre, attn. Barb Schulte, 4600 Starlight Road, Kansas City, Missouri, 64132.
  • No purchase is necessary to participate.

 

5. PRIZES AND ODDS All valid entries received prior to December 9, 2011 at 11:59:00 will be eligible for the Prize Package drawing to take place on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 by 11:59 p.m. One Prize Package winner will be drawn. Odds are based on the number of participants in promotion. The Prize Package, valued at $1,200, includes:

  • 2 round-trip flights (travel must be completed by June 30, 2012)
  • 2 tickets to a current Broadway-style show in Chicago
  • 2-night hotel stay

The Prize Package winner will be notified via phone or e-mail by Friday, December 16, 2011. The name of the Prize Package winner will be posted on www.kcstarlight.com by Wednesday, December 21, 2011. Prize Package is subject to change and date availability. The Prize Package must be used by June 30, 2012. The Company reserves, at its sole option, the right to alter the Prize Package if necessary throughout the promotional period or exchange with a prize package of similar value.

6. GENERAL The Company reserves the right to change, alter or modify the Official Rules and Regulations at any time with or without written notice. The Company reserves the right, at it sole discretion, to disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the operation of the Promotion. The Company shall be the sole arbiters in all matters relating to the Promotion and its Official Rules and Regulations. The decisions of The Company are final and binding in all respects.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY The Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and/or agents assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry information on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site or any combination thereof. The Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and/or agents are not responsible for any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from any materials in the Promotion. The Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries and related companies, and their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and/or agents reserve the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Promotion if it becomes technically corrupted or if for any other reason the Internet portion of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infections by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized The Company or its consulting agencies which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, functioning or proper conduct of this promotion.

IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY, ITS AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND RELATED COMPANIES, AND THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, REPRESENTATIVES AND/OR AGENTS BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE DELIVERY, USE, OR PERFORMANCE OF THE PRIZE(S) OR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES PURCHASED WITH THE PRIZE(S), INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
