Courtney Germany

COURTNEY GERMANY has been dancing for 20 years. In summer 2016, Courtney studied many aspects of performance at Broadway Dance Center’s Summer Professional Semester in New York City. She currently teaches drama and dance classes at Life Time Fitness in Lenexa, Kan., as part of its Kids Academy program. Courtney studied in the Department of Dance at the University of Kansas. She spent two seasons on the Rock Chalk Dance Team where she had the opportunity to dance at various NCAA and Big 12 Conference sporting events as well as halftime of a Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards game at the Sprint Center.

Courtney’s involvement with Starlight Theatre began 11 years ago when she was a recipient of the Vincent Legacy Scholarship in its inaugural year. Since then, she has performed in numerous Starlight galas and shared her love for the theatre by teaching Master Classes and working as a teaching assistant for Act Like and Animal Camp, Frosty Fun Days, Spring Break Camp and Camp Take-a-Bow. Courtney has also had the pleasure of working as the Music and Movement Teaching Artist and Choreographer for Act Like An Animal Camp and Camp Take-a-Bow.
