John Mulvey

JOHN MULVEY is an actor, director, stage manager, facilitator and professional improvisation performer. He has taught acting classes at Longview Community College, Kansas City Young Audiences’ Community School of the Arts, and Theatre for Young America. He has performed in plays such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and in numerous children’s theatre productions, including TYA’s The Phantom Tollbooth, Ramona, Toughest Kid in the World, and Bully Bot the Robot and the Gang of Geeks

John has been affiliated with the Toughest Kid Violence Prevention program since its founding in 1996. He teaches anti-bullying workshops in connection with Bully Bot.

John performed regularly with the improvisational and sketch comedy group Out on a Limb, which headlined shows for Stanford’s Comedy Clubs and was featured on KCPT’s “Marquee” and the FOX network. He teaches improv workshops in schools across Kansas City.

John has been a member of Starlight Theatre’s Just Imagine performance troupe since 2008. He holds a Bachelor of Theatre Arts degree from Benedictine College.
