Sarah LeBarr

SARAH LaBARR has performed at the Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Starlight Theatre, Musical Theater Heritage, Theatre for Young America, Quality Hill Playhouse, Lyric Opera of Kansas City, the Civic Opera Theater of Kansas City, Fishtank Performance Studio, and has understudied at New Theatre Restaurant. She sang with the Kansas City Chorale for three years, including on their Grammy® Award-winning Passion Week album. She also sings with the Dickens Carolers.  

Sarah is a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing, Sigma Alpha Iota (Professional Women’s Music Fraternity), Actors’ Equity Association and the American Guild of Musical Artists. An adjunct professor of voice and piano at Kansas City Kansas Community College, she also teaches at her home studio. Sarah previously taught at Longview Community College, Starlight Theatre, Danceworks Conservatory, Meyer Music, and was the accompanist for Smithville High School. She has been the soprano soloist at numerous churches in the Kansas City area.

Sarah received a B.S. in theatre performance and a B.A. in music from Northwest Missouri State University. She also holds a Master of Music degree in voice performance from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
