Act Like An Animal Camp
Enrollment for 2018 will open in the spring. Check back for camp dates and information.
Each summer Starlight Theatre partners with our neighbor, the Kansas City Zoo, to offer Act Like An Animal Camp for children currently enrolled in Kindergarten through grade 4 (2017-18 school year).
Each session of this popular, interactive day camp meets for two weeks. Children, in age-appropriate groups, spend half of each camp day at Starlight exploring theatre arts and learning specialized theatre skills, including storytelling, acting, movement and music. During the other half of the day, campers journey to the zoo to enjoy hands-on interaction with animals, take tours, create crafts and play camp games.
A final performance and camper art display highlight the weeks' “ed-ventures” for family and friends.

“The check-in process was easy and secure, which was comforting to me as a parent. I also enjoyed the daily newsletters, which provided great conversation starters with my daughter. I'm very pleased with the camp experience and would sign up for the camp again!”
