Country singer-songwriter Dierks Bentley has extended his Burning Man Tour into summer with 30 additional dates announced, including a stop at Starlight Theatre Thursday, August 22.
Bentley released his self-titled debut album in 2003 with his first single, “What Was I Thinkin’,” reaching No. 1 on the US Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The song was the first of 17 No. 1 hit singles to date, including “Every Mile a Memory” and “Free and Easy (Down the Road I Go),” as well as “Women, Amen” and “Burning Man” from his latest album, The Mountain, released in 2018. In addition to his success on the Billboard charts, Bentley has been honored with many Grammy and Country Music Association nominations. He was invited into the Grand Ole Opry in 2005 and is the third youngest member to have been inducted.
Platinum-selling artist Jon Pardi and Canadian country music singer Tenille Townes open for Bentley. Pardi is known for his No.1 singles like “Head Over Boots” and “Heartache on the Dance Floor,” as well as his most recent single, “Night Shift.” Townes released her first album, Real, in June 2011, which followed with a nomination for a Canadian Country Music Award for Female Artist of the Year. Hot Country Knights, Bentley’s ‘90s country cover band, will also perform.
