Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Ray LaMontagne will visit 31 cities during his newly announced “2018 Part Of The Light” summer tour, which will include a night at Starlight Theatre on Sunday, July 8.
LaMontagne is set to release his seventh studio album, Part Of The Light, on May 18 via RCA Records. Written and produced by LaMontagne, the album features the first single, “Such A Simple Thing.”
Since launching his career 13 years ago, LaMontagne has released six studio albums, five of which have reached the Top 10 on Billboard’s Top Rock Albums and Digital Albums charts. Additionally, his 2010 God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise won the Grammy for Best Folk Album, and its single, “Beg Steal or Borrow” was nominated for Song of the Year.
Each release from LaMontagne’s catalog carries its own character and feel. Having worked with producers Ethan Johns, Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys and Jim James of My Morning Jacket, his music has been called everything from “a perfect throwback to the lost art of the album-length format” (Entertainment Weekly) to “epic and magical” (Rolling Stone) and “gorgeous and ambitious” (Esquire).
