Policies

In order to make your Starlight experience enjoyable, we ask for your cooperation in observing the policies for Starlight Theatre.

Theatre Etiquette
Broadway performances begin promptly at 8:30 p.m. with the exception of Les Miserables which has an 8:00 p.m. curtain time. We ask that you arrive prior to curtain time and remain in your seats until the performance has ended and the actors have taken their curtain calls.

Late Arrivals
As a courtesy to the performers and our audience, late-arriving patrons will be seated at the discretion of house management at a pause in the performance.

Exchange Policy
There are no refunds or exchanges on individual Broadway show tickets, concert tickets or other Starlight events.

If you are a season ticket holder and you discover that you will be unable to attend a show on your regular night, you may exchange your season tickets for another night, or another Broadway production. Season tickets may be exchanged by phone, on-line, by fax, or in person at the Starlight Box Office during regular business hours. (Service fees may apply.) Season ticket exchanges must be made at least 24 hours before your originally scheduled performance. We will exchange your tickets for the best available seats of equal or lesser value. For more information about season ticket exchanges, visit our Season Ticket Exchange page.

Inclement Weather Policy
Broadway shows and concerts are held rain or shine!

We encourage everyone to come to the theatre on the night of their scheduled performance since all shows are held rain or shine.  Performances are scheduled to begin promptly at 8:30 p.m. with the exception of Les Miserables which has an 8:00 p.m. curtain time. Due to the nature of live theatre, curtain time may be held up to one hour if necessary. If circumstances cause the cancellation of a performance prior to the completion of one hour (not necessarily a continuous hour) management will make every attempt to exchange your ticket to a performance of the same event. Tickets are valid for the current season only and become void after September 30.  Tickets for a canceled Broadway performance are non-refundable.

Ticket Policies
By use of a Starlight ticket, the ticket holder agrees not to transmit or aid in transmitting any description, account, picture or reproduction of the performance for which the ticket is issued. The ticket holder acknowledges that the event may be broadcast or otherwise publicized, and hereby grants permission to utilize his or her image or likeness in connection with any live or recorded transmission, reproduction or still photography of such event.

It is unlawful to reproduce a Starlight ticket in any form. Tickets obtained from unauthorized sources may be counterfeit, and if so, are void. Unauthorized or unlawful resale or attempted resale is grounds for seizure and cancellation without compensation. Tickets may not be resold by an unlicensed vendor under penalty of law.

Your ticket is a revocable license and admission may be refused upon refunding the face amount of the ticket. Management reserves the right, without refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or to eject any person whose conduct is deemed by management to be disorderly, who uses vulgar or abusive language or who fails to comply with these or other management rules. Breach of any of the foregoing will automatically terminate the license.

Audio Description
The Sunday evening performance of each Starlight Theatre musical is interpreted via Audio Description for the visually impaired. Special seating is not required to utilize this service. Headphones are available free of charge. Simply visit our gift store, OVATION, and leave your State Identification Card, Social Security card or a credit card in exchange for one of the listening devices. Return the device after the performance and a member of our customer service team will return your card. Audio Description is the art of talking pictorially to make theater, television, films, museum exhibits and events more accessible for people with diminished or low vision. Theater patrons wear special headsets and, during pauses in the stage dialogue, specially trained volunteers from the Audio-Reader Network provide descriptions of actions, body language, lighting, costumes, scenery and other aspects of the production not conveyed by voices from the stage. Audio-Reader volunteers describe visual detail, including stage sets, stage costume, actor movement and theater layout to theater patrons wearing very small audio description headphones.
