Pre-Show Entertainment & Tours

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL BEHIND-THE-SCENES-TOUR INFORMATION
Please decide on a meeting place in advance in the event that your guests arrive separately.

Reservations are not required for the behind-the-scenes tours, but the earlier you arrive, the better. Tour times begin at 6 p.m. and the last tour ends promptly at 7:15. Tours run up to 25 minutes.

Please visit this tour schedule the evening of the show you’re scheduled to attend incase changes are made due to National Tour requirements. Tours do go through the main back stage areas including the stage, but once again, tours are subject to National Tour approval and are subject to change.

SPOTLIGHT SQUARE
At Spotlight Square, the fun begins way before the evening’s show starts!  You can catch performances from some of Kansas City’s finest local talent, including the Starlight STARS, before each night’s production. Note: Spotlight Square now has a new location just inside of the new west entrance gate 4!

• Wednesday, July 16 - Studio 320
• Thursday, July 17 - Starlight STARS
• Friday, July 18 - Show Peppers
• Saturday, July 19 - Studio School of Dance
• Sunday, July 20 - Diane's School of Dance

STARLIGHT TOURS   

Arrive early and get a free, behind-the-scenes look at Starlight and learn about Starlight’s rich history in Kansas City. Tours begin before each Broadway performance at three convenient times: 6:45 p.m., 7:00 p.m., and 7:15 p.m.Patrons interested in touring Starlight Theatre should report to the top, northeast corner of the theatre behind Terrace Section 7 to begin their facility tours.
