Concert Series Now Up to 17 Dates

The lineup for the 2017 Capitol Federal Concert Series at Starlight Theatre has climbed to 17 shows, and a few additional artists and dates are expected in the coming weeks.

Concerts announced and on sale in the past month include:

Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo and Rick Springfield
Friday, May 5

Three highly talented musicians bring their expansive catalogs of rock ‘n’ roll and power-pop hits to Starlight audiences.

Soundgarden with the Dillinger Escape Plan
Sunday, May 14

On the heels of the release of a remixed and expanded version of their 1988 debut album, Ultramega OK, Grammy Award-winning rock band Soundgarden stops at Starlight on their North American tour.

Willie Nelson & Family with Dwight Yoakam and Robert Earl Keen
Saturday, June 17

Iconic Texas singer-songwriter Willie Nelson will entertain Starlight audiences with selections from his six-decade career and 200-plus albums.

Jim Gaffigan
Thursday, July 20

Two-time Grammy nominee and star of TV Land’s “The Jim Gaffigan Show” brings his Noble Ape Tour to Starlight audiences. In addition to touring, the comedian will be seen in six feature films this year.

Thursday, August 3

With their third album to be released this June, indie rock band alt-J will visit Starlight on their U.S. tour. The band has headlined festivals worldwide and sold out London’s O2 arena and New York’s Madison Square Garden on their last tour.

Young The Giant with Cold War Kids & Joywave
Saturday, August 5

Young The Giant’s upcoming Home of the Strange Tour celebrates the band’s third studio album, which climbed to No. 1 on the iTunes Store’s Top Alternative Albums chart and No. 3 on the Top Albums chart.
