Now is the time to enroll your aspiring young artist in Spring Break Camp at Starlight. Our two weeklong camp sessions match up with Kansas City area school district schedules.

For children in grades 1 to 5, Spring Break Camp is offered on-site at Starlight:

  • Camp Session 1: March 12-16 (registration closes March 5)
  • Camp Session 2: March 19-23 (registration closes March 12)

Children who attend will unleash their creativity and talents, make new friends and take the stage in front of a live audience! Led by theatre professionals, campers explore acting, singing and dance; enjoy fun theatre games that enhance their skills; and rehearse and create sets, props and costumes for a production to be staged for family and friends at the end of the week.

Each five-day camp meets from 8:50 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily (check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.). No previous performance experience is required.

The registration fee is $225. After care is available for an additional fee.

Register online for Spring Break Camp or call 816.997.1134 with questions.

Starlight also invites you to explore our upcoming summer camps for youth:

  • Camp Take-a-Bow: June 18-29
    Registration opens March 12
This camp is for students currently enrolled in grades 5 to 8. Campers gain in-depth, hands-on experience in creating and staging a musical theatre production.
  • Act Like An Animal Camp: July 9-20 (2 weeks) or Aug. 6-10 (1 week)
    Registration opens April 2
Presented in partnership with the Kansas City Zoo, this camp is for children currently enrolled in kindergarten through grade 4. Campers spend half of each day at Starlight exploring theatre arts and learning theatre skills, including acting, movement and music. During the other half of the day, they journey to the zoo for hands-on interaction with animals, tours, crafts and camp games.
