Lucinda Williams, Steve Earle and Dwight Yoakam, three esteemed artists who have earned a combined 49 Grammy Award nominations, will bring their LSD Tour to Starlight Theatre on Thursday, June 21. Special guest and Sire Records recording artist King Leg will open the show
Dwight Yoakam, a 21-time Grammy nominee and two-time winner, has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide. Twelve of his albums have gone gold, while nine achieved platinum or multi-platinum status, including five that topped Billboard’s Country Albums chart. In September 2016, Yoakam released Swimmin’ Pools, Movie Stars…, his first-ever bluegrass album. Most recently, Sirius XM announced a 24/7 channel curated by Yoakam. The channel, titled “Dwight Yoakam and The Bakersfield Beat: Where Country Went Mod,” laundhes in late April 2018.
Folk singer and three-time Grammy winner Lucinda Williams recently re-recorded a 25th anniversary version of her 1992 classic Sweet Old World. Released in September 2017, the new album features all-new renditions of the original 12 songs, some of which have been dramatically rearranged and rewritten.
Steve Earle, also a three-time Grammy honoree, is an acclaimed singer-songwriter who has released 16 albums. Warner Bros. Records has released remastered version of six of Earle’s classic albums. His songs have also been recorded by such music legends as Johnny Cash, Emmylou Harris, Carl Perkins, Vince Gill and more.
