Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Godspell was the first major musical from three-time Grammy and Academy Award winner Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin, Children of Eden), and it took the world by storm. Led by the international hit, "Day by Day," Godspell includes a parade of chart-topping songs, including "All Good Gifts," "Turn Back, O Man," "By My Side" and many more, and features an incredibly talented, all-Kansas City cast.

Told in a series of parables, Godspell is a musical retelling of the Gospel of Matthew. A group of followers help Jesus to share various lessons through song and dance before dissolving hauntingly into the Last Supper and the Crucifixion. Jesus' teachings of kindness and tolerance come vibrantly to life in Godspell. This sensational show is the perfect musical for today, as it continues to inspire audiences with its messages of hope and love.
