Starlight Theatre welcomes Train and Natasha Bedingfield on Monday, July 3, as the Play That Song Tour rolls across North America in 2017. The 46-city tour route begins in Las Vegas in mid-May.

Train’s 10th album, a girl a bottle a boat, featuring the hit single “Play That Song,” is scheduled for release Jan. 27.

Multi-platinum roots rock band Train formed in San Francisco in 1993 and saw mainstream success with its debut album in 1998. Their second album, 2001’s Drops of Jupiter, featured the single “Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)," which took home two Grammy Awards in 2002. That album remains the band’s best-seller worldwide. Train earned a third Grammy in 2011 for the worldwide smash “Hey Soul Sister” from their fifth album, Save Me, San Francisco. The song was the biggest-selling single of 2010, hitting No. 1 on the radio in the United States and 15 other countries.

At Starlight, Train is joined by British singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield. Her 2004 debut album, Unwritten, enjoyed international success for its up-tempo pop songs. The album’s title track also earned Bedingfield a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance. She has released two additional albums in North America, Pocketful of Sunshine in 2008 and Strip Me in late 2010.
