Starlight’s 2018 Shawnee Mission Health Broadway Series features a diverse lineup with shows that are ideal for date nights, family outings, girls’ nights out and more.
Single-show tickets start at just $14 for Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday performances (less than some movies!), and $17 for weekend performances. Seven of the eight shows coming to Starlight in 2018 are national touring productions, including two that are making their Kansas City debuts – ON YOUR FEET! The Emilio & Gloria Estefan Musical and Love Never Dies, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sequel to The Phantom of the Opera. Starlight’s self-production this summer is Broadway’s bouffant-high hit, Hairspray, directed and choreographed by Jerry Jay Cranford.
The 2018 Shawnee Mission Health Broadway Series at Starlight features:
- ON YOUR FEET! The Emilio & Gloria Estefan Broadway Musical

Broadway’s razzle-dazzle CHICAGO is a triumphant hit musical and the recipient of six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards, a Grammy and thousands of standing ovations. It is the longest-running American musical in Broadway history.
