Young Friends of Starlight’s annual membership event, Harvest Happy Hour, is right around the corner! An evening of networking, connecting and celebrating at Starlight, this year’s event will take place Thursday, October 28 from 6-8 p.m. at Starlight’s Ovation Museum. This is an open event – all patrons 21+ are welcome to attend!
Local favorite Crane Brewing will lead YFS through a seasonal beer tasting, and the team at Bronson’s Milk Punch will welcome attendees with a drink on arrival. A $15 ticket includes all tastings and light appetizers. A cash bar will also be available.
Before or after the main event, take the opportunity to extend the night at Van Gogh Alive, a large-scale, immersive multi-sensory experience. Harvest Happy Hour attendees receive a discount to Van Gogh Alive and $5 off a new Young Friends of Starlight membership.
Young Friends of Starlight is the young professionals’ membership group of Starlight. The group makes Broadway shows, concerts and special events at Starlight Theatre more accessible for young adults and provides opportunities to network, learn about various programs and develop long-lasting support of Starlight.
Here are three reasons why you should join YFS!
- Create impact. YFS exists to support Starlight. The 2021 Starry Night fundraising event brought in $100,000, which helps Starlight offer PAID summer internships to college students.
- Build community. YFS strengthens young professional networks and neighborhoods surrounding Starlight through behind-the-scenes events and volunteer opportunities.
- Spread joy. Join other Broadway, concert and art lovers at shows and YFS events yearlong with discount opportunities and other perks.
Purchase tickets to Harvest Happy Hour online or by calling 816-363-7827 and add on tickets to Van Gogh Alive at the time of purchase.
Starlight continues to closely monitor federal, state and local guidelines. Policies and procedures will continue to evolve dependent on COVID-19 status at the time of each event. Stay up-to-date on all of the precautions Starlight is taking on Starlight’s Staying Safe webpage.
