Van Gogh Alive, the multi-sensory experience presented by Starlight Theatre and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, opened last month inside the Cohen Community Stage House at Starlight and runs through December 31 of this year. It’s an entirely new way to experience Starlight, as it takes place in the same stage that Broadway shows and concerts are performed on each summer. Patrons are loving this unique exhibit – see what guests are saying from post-event surveys.
“Beautiful! The movement included in the paintings added so much to the exhibit. The Sunflower Room literally took my breath away!”
“It was not only an artistic experience, the music was beautiful and perfect for each segment; his writings were spiritual and meditative.”
“Amazing, educational, emotive, fascinating, glorious, immersive, inspiring, soul feeding. There are not enough superlatives to describe it. Thank you!”
Featuring more than 3,000 images of Van Gogh’s paintings, writings and more projected onto floor to ceiling screens, Van Gogh Alive is an experience unlike any other.
