Kudos to Jane Chu on Leading U.S. Arts

All of us associated with Starlight Theatre send hearty congratulations and best wishes to Jane Chu in her new role as chairwoman of the National Endowment for the Arts.

Jane has long been a leader and innovator in Kansas City’s arts and philanthropic communities – and a friend to Starlight. We are proud that her Kansas City accomplishments were recognized by President Obama, positioning her for our nation’s top arts leadership role.

At Starlight we had the pleasure to partner with Jane and her team in producing two seasons of Starlight Children’s Theatre at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in 2012 and 2013. We have no doubt she will apply her arts knowledge and Kansas City experience to accomplish great things as the chair of the NEA.

Way to go, Jane!
