Missouri Arts Council Recognizes Starlight Blog as Top Blog

Last month the Missouri Arts Council recognized Starlight Theatre’s blog as one on the top arts blogs in the state. The Arts Council searched the Missouri arts blogosphere using a set of criteria to narrow down the top blogs in the areas of artists, organizations, dedicated fans, travel experts and news media.

“The reason Starlight launched its blog was to give Broadway and concert fans an in-depth view of upcoming events and Starlight news,” said Cindy Jeffries, Vice President of Marketing, Sales & Development.

Since its launch in 2010, Starlight Theatre’s blog has seen growth in readers and news content. In 2013, Starlight posted an average of three news stories a week. The blog posts feature updates on productions, staff features and behind-the-scenes venue stories.
