Starlight Indoors has lots to love! The musical comedy First Date is fun for friends and lovers through Feb. 26, and the not-so-prim princesses of Disenchanted! will steal hearts March 7-19.
Audiences are applauding and doubling over with laughter at First Date, the musical comedy currently on stage at Starlight Indoors. The ideal show for couples celebrating Valentine’s month or friends gathering for “Galentine’s,” First Date was lauded as “a fun evening that allows its audience to let its hair down and enjoy some very talented, outrageous and fun performers” in a review on broadwayworld.com.
Hear what audiences love about First Date!
First Date’s talented cast of five includes professional actors who may be familiar to Kansas City audiences. Lead actors Lauren Braton and Shea Coffman have performed extensively in local theatres, as have fellow actors Francisco Javier Villegas and Andrew Schmidt. St. Louis actress April Strelinger rounds out the high-energy cast.
Performances of First Date continue through Sunday, Feb. 26. Shows are at 7 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
When the calendar turns to March, Starlight Indoors offers up another musical comedy – Disenchanted! – that is winning the hearts of critics and audiences nationwide. With Snow White and her posse of disenchanted princesses, this hit musical is anything but Grimm!
After multiple sold-out runs in theatres across the country, these royal renegades will head to Kansas City, toss off their tiaras and serve up a hilariously subversive show for Starlight Indoors audiences. NOTE: Call the babysitter now because this fairy tale is not for the kiddos.
Great seats are still available for First Date and Disenchanted. Purchase tickets online, by calling 816.363.7827 or at the Starlight ticket office.
P.S. Love the shows even more by springing for VIP tickets that include premium seating, free valet parking and a free drink!
