Starry Night at Starlight Raises More Than $100,000

We are thrilled to announce that Starry Night at Starlight raised an astonishing $121,615, contributing to the growth and development of the Bob Rohlf Internship program.

Held Saturday, July 22, the event featured 18 All-Stars, a group of Kansas City’s most dynamic and charitable movers and shakers, who led the charge on fundraising. We are so grateful for their dedication in helping Starlight meet its goal for the third year in a row, and for raising more this year than ever before!

350 guests came together to celebrate and enjoyed cocktails, food and drinks, a live performance from The Crossroad Sound, and the Saturday evening performance of Rain – A Tribute to the Beatles. Guests looked amazing in their outfits, inspired by their favorite Beatles era or song!

Thank you to all of our All-Stars for fundraising on behalf of Starlight’s paid internship program, which provides hands-on, real-world experiences to college students. Special thanks to Monica Curls and Tracy Musolf, Co-Chairs of this year’s event and the top two All-Stars in 2022.

The All-Stars who raised the most money to support the event this year were:

Mark Moberly & Kerri Stowell – $20,000

JJ Burns & Andrea Boswell-Burns – $10,100

Jacob Derritt – $8,693

Melissa & Robert Hingula – $8,626
