Starlight Theatre is proud to be one of only two remaining outdoor theatres in the United States to present and produce full-scale Broadway musical productions. Opened in 1950, Starlight is an integral part of the Kansas City performing arts scene and a treasured community resource. Numerous additions and improvements to the facility over the years have created a one-of-a-kind venue and contributed to a Starlight’s unparalleled entertainment experience.
Did you know? In 2013, Starlight received the Venue Excellence Award from the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM). This award is the organization’s most prestigious annual honor.
