Apply for a 2024 Starlight Summer Internship

Theatre has the power to change lives. Whether it’s a musical that lingers long after the curtain closes or it’s a comedy that keeps you laughing for years. Another way is through Starlight’s Bob Rohlf Summer Internship program.

Applications are now available online for college students seeking a paid internship experience filled with hands-on opportunities. Starlight interns contribute to the success of the theatre’s Broadway shows, concerts, community engagement programs, and more.

In addition to working with Starlight staff members, there are opportunities for networking with other organizations and to grow through professional development.

Social activities are included to help interns bond and work as a team with options such as a scavenger hunt, a volunteer project, and a trip to the Kansas City Zoo!

Positions are available in almost every department at Starlight from philanthropy to horticulture.

Internships are full-time and last for approximately 12 weeks. The preferred start date is in mid-May, with evenings and weekend hours a part of the time commitment.
