Starlight was also a finalist for Best Attraction, Best Building, Best Local Landmark, and Best Country Music Venue.
Earlier this year, Kansas City Magazine asked for nominations for the “Best of KC” in more than 300 categories—ranging from best burger, to best attraction, and everything in between. After narrowing down the nominations the final ballot was released to readers to vote. And vote they did! Kansas City Magazine reports a huge increase in voting from previous years with more than 500,000 votes in the finals.
