Starlight Stars of Tomorrow

Starlight has postponed our March 24 and March 28 auditions for the Starlight Stars of Tomorrow. We anticipate rescheduling auditions for dates TBD in May.

The Starlight Stars of Tomorrow program is designed to help middle school students build a foundation of performance skills. Through training, performance opportunities and master classes, students learn about the art of musical theatre. Selected students:

  • Meet peers who share a passion for performing
  • Learn the theatre process (from auditions to performing)
  • Perform at Starlight and throughout Kansas City
  • Are eligible to audition for Starlight productions
  • Become part of the Starlight community

The program’s activities take place throughout the summer, with additional fall and winter opportunities. Stars of Tomorrow learn a medley of songs from Starlight’s Broadway season. They perform the medley at Starlight prior to select Broadway performances and at multiple community events. Students are invited to attend master classes with guest artists.
