Staff Highlight: Mandi, CFO & VP of Finance
The performing arts aren’t only about singing and dancing. Some of the most important theatrical numbers can be the kind that end in zeroes.
As the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance, Mandi Wright is responsible for managing and leading the financial initiatives of Starlight. She accomplishes this by taking financial data and using it to influence operational decision-making and strategy. Mandi has been a member of the Starlight team for more than 20 years, having started as an intern.
She and her team just completed a three-year strategic plan to help propel Starlight successfully into the future. She is looking forward to supporting that vision as Starlight moves toward its goals and builds a bright future.

Music and Numbers
Mandi views the best part of her job as being a part of live music! While she has a very analytical function here at Starlight, Mandi enjoys that she can still experience the performing arts firsthand.
As a lover of live music, Mandi has attended many concerts and shows, but her all-time favorite was Robert Plant and Alison Krauss this past May. Specifically, because the JD McPherson band that opened for them is her all-time favorite band that she has now seen 95 times.
“It was a dream come true for me to see my favorite band at my favorite venue!” she said.
Mandi is also a self-proclaimed sucker for tap dancing, making her favorite musical 42nd Street.
