The second annual After Hours at the Towers fundraising event, hosted by Center Stage-Young Professionals of Starlight Theatre, was an unforgettable evening for nearly 200 Kansas City young professionals and supporters of Starlight.
The French-themed event on Friday, April 21 transported guests to the streets of Paris during an evening that was inspired by Starlight’s upcoming production of An American in Paris. The event featured crepes from Chez Elle, croissants from Bizz & Weezy Confections and more from local restaurants, as well as live music from fan-favorite Lost Wax. A mime, accordion player and live painter also helped set the tone for the Parisian soiree.
Thanks to the support of many generous sponsors, the event helped raise more than $20,000 for Starlight’s Bob Rohlf Internship program, which provides paid summer internships for college students.
Starlight thanks the following sponsors of the event:
KPMG / Rob Wolf
Bank of Blue Valley
Mariner Wealth Advisors
Trozzolo Communications Group
Episcopal Community Services
Tammy & Ken Peterman
Sara Stevenson – State Farm Insurance
St. Luke’s Marion Bloch Neuroscience Institute
Truman Medical Centers
