Celebrating the Impact of Starlight’s Volunteer Ambassadors

On Saturday, October 29, Starlight celebrated the generosity and achievements of nearly 150 volunteer Ambassadors during a hosted reception at the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art. Together, this mighty team of volunteers contributed more than 4,500 hours to ensure the success and smooth operation of more than 60 concerts and Broadway productions hosted at Starlight during the 2022 summer season – services valued at nearly $140,000.

Ambassadors that went above and beyond were recognized for their exemplary service:

Addison Goold and Anna White - Junior Ambassador Award
In recognition of young Ambassadors that go above and beyond in their roles.

Amy Brown & Anja Classberg - Jan & Lee Morevitska Award
In recognition of those who choose to dedicate their time to Starlight alongside their partner.

Jennifer Gilbert and Phil & Carol Petrus – Legacy Award
This award is to give thanks to our Ambassadors who give their time as a family.

Lewis Passman – Ambassador of the Year
Based on the number of volunteer hours contributed to Starlight.

Tori Roberts – Don Woodson Award for Outstanding Leadership
Named after a former president of the Starlight Ambassador program, this award recognizes an individual who consistently goes above and beyond to advance the program.
