Adjudicators

Starlight adjudicators are experienced theatre professionals—from performers and designers to directors and educators. Each season, they review all award categories and select the nominees and winners. While Starlight coordinates the process, we do not take part in the evaluations. 

For each participating musical, three adjudicators attend and provide feedback. Adjudicators are paid per show or per student-submitted category. The number and type of adjudicators needed can change each year based on the season’s show schedule and ensuring a balanced mix of theatre backgrounds represented. 

Interested in joining us? Applications are accepted year-round! We review new submissions at the start of each fall, and we’ll reach out to new applicants during those cycles.
